Joseph Sohm has been published more than 50,000 times, including: National Geographic, Time, Newsweek, New York & LA Times, Washington Post, CNN, ABC, PBS, History Channel, etc. He served as President Clinton’s photographer for the D.N.C. and his image is featured on President Clinton’s “My Life” and in his Presidential Library. His work is also featured in Ronald Reagan’s book, “The Great Communicator,” Bill Mahr’s “Real Time,” Al Gore’s Oscarwinning “An Inconvenient Truth” and on the cover of John Grisham’s “King of Torts.”
He recently published “Visions of America - Photographing Democracy” - a Gold Medal winning tabletop book featuring Paul Theroux’s forward. This Gold/Silver Medal winning tabletop book has been used by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the U.S. Department of State as diplomatic gifts. Additionally, the State Dept. has featured his fine-art prints in eleven American Embassies Worldwide.
His imagery have been featured in original “VOA Photo Symphony Concerts” by the Boston Pops, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops and the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. He is represented by Getty Images & Corbis and has been published more than 100,000 in the worldwide media. As has made keynote speaking presentations to more than 100 colleges and universities and was featured at the Apple store in Boston, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. that aired on C-SPAN “Book TV.” He was recently featured throughout the Renaissance Weekend in the Grand Tetons.
