Lecture April 27th Workshop - On Lighting - by Dean Zatkowsky
Dean Zatkowsky, the President of the Ojai Camera Club, will be presenting a lecture on Lighting. The workshop will be presented in three sections:
- Understanding fundamental concepts of photographic light, including direction, quality, size, distance, contrast ratio, and a glossary of useful terms.
- Learning to see and analyze light by reverse engineering photos
- Taking control of the light through shooting angles, reflectors, or electronic flash.
"I try to make all of this accessible for both advanced amateurs and rank beginners, because even those of us who just want better pictures of our cats won't get them until we know how to see and use the light."

You can learn more about Dean on his blog, image gallery, or his portrait site.
