VCCC General Business Meeting

VCCC GENERAL BUSINESS MEETING
December 14, 2010 NEW DECISIONS

A business meeting took place in Camarillo recently and member brought several issues
onto the table. There were some new decisions made. They are, in summary:

Dues
Dues will be raised to $40 for all new members beginning in January. Renewals will continue at $35 per person until January 12, 2011 (our next meeting). All renewals after January 12, 2011 will be $40. So if you have waiting for the rain to stop, join now.

Entries
Entries will be limited to 3 entries per month. There may be no more than 2 entries in any category. This is a change from the current limit of 4 per month.

Digital Art Category
We will NOT merge the Digital Art Category with the Open category, however the Digital Entry Coordinator, any Officer, or the Judge may, at their digression, move a photo into the Digital Art Category if entered into on of the other categories. Support Your Local Photographer We will not announce local  photographer workshops at the meeting, but we will provide the information in the newsletter and possibly in a handout at the back of the room.

Monthly Newsletter
The new newsletter format was approved. In addition we will be adding a ‘Support Your Local Photographer’ section and may be adding a classifieds section. Other additions being planned by Kevin Charbonneau, our newsletter editor.
